Um, I've never left a flame before in my life, and I don't think I just did, but I didn't really leave a positive review. It's so weird, I was enjoying it so much, esp. the love triangle with Kenny, until Cartman killed him mom and I was like, WHAT? I couldn't really take it seriously after that, which is too bad. What did you think?

ooh, i never get to discuss fanfics! this is so fun!!

i knew it was categorized under horror but i guess i didn't take it seriously.

the story would have been an amazing romance if it ended at the soup chapter (loved the soup chapter). there was a twist and a happy ending. good enough.

when i find out he killed his mom, i completely flipped out. i was really upset and disappointed. i would have felt a little better if cartman went to prison and kyle ended up with kenny, too, but of course my hopes were shattered when kenny got run over.
I thought the story was an amazing horror but sadly i dont like horror fanfics.

Once it was over, i was in total despair for days. i had to read other fics to feel better. every once in a while i see cartman as a psycho killer. that story tainted him for me.

Oooh yay! God it's been so long for me too, it was like pent up. XD

Oh yeah, it was horror, huh? Jesus I totally ignored that for some reason...

But yeah I was enjoying it actually up to the chapter where Kenny admitted he was falling in love with Kyle.. You know even though Ken was a total varsity jock-y sleaze, I still liked him. He was still a slut, but it was a different characterization than what I was used to, and I liked it. And I liked how she totally contrasted Cartman's ease and power with words and Kenny's difficulty with them (besides the one-liners, that is).

But it was just way too much, like, Cartman isn't that crazy, you know? His mom gives him everything. I mean, he was obviously mentally disturbed.. I feel like that should have been in the summary or something, lol. The fact that he was the one who killed his mom somehow made cliche, and after that he was just OOC and scary! Seriouslah.
Whatever, when I saw that they were going to like, run away from their lives I contemplated stopping there, but I continued and was super disappointed with the end, but I expected it.

And yeah! Then I had to try to find old cute Style fics to get psycho Cartman and Kyle out of my head... and it didn't really work. I want to actually read a CxK that doesn't end in heartbreak and misery please.

well i just dont know anyone who likes the same series as I do who read fanfics, you know? this is really the first time i've done this.

yeah kenny.. i thought it might have been possible that kenny honestly liked kyle by the end. i thought the pathetic poetry and stuff like that was very humble and showed that he didn't know what he was doing, like he had really never felt that way. usually when guys like that just want to 'win' something they stick to what works, not go out of their comfort zone. i dunno, i thought he was cute too.

yeah, you're right about the mom thing! cartman's mom is a sweetheart.

see, i think this is like an original story melded it into a fanfiction. it seemed like there were roles that had to be filled and her cast choices came from the south park world. the truth is none of the four boys are psycho, so she just chose the one who was closest to it.

when kyle killed stan, it really was the final blow. there was hope for redemption for kyle through the entire story, up until then. that was the 'there's no going back' point. but honestly, i cant see him getting away with that, shooting him in a crowd of people near a sports game. there are so many cops all over... both of those two are going to jail. it kind of makes me feel better thinking that justice might be served in a pathetic little way.

Haha well it's fun! I totally embrace my fangirl status. Privately, of course, eheh.. I don't really broach the subject of Kenny and Cartman's undeniable love for each other with my friends who watch the show--most of which who are guys, too, lol. XD

Yes, exactly! I think she really did write Kenny really well, Cartman too, at first. And while I loved the Soup chapter, I dunno about Eric trying to kill himself over something like seeing Kenny and Kyle peck.

And I totally agree about just plugging the characters in. I even told her that in my final review, that I couldn't take it seriously with the SP boys, but that I did respect the story as a portrayal of what might have happened behind the scenes of those scary, horrible news reports that come on TV every once in a while, when there's some tragic incident involving some poor confused teenagers getting into trouble like this.

And yeah, I dunno.. I kinda thought/was afraid Cartman got the handgun to kill himself and Kyle, so they could be together forever, or some shit, but mabe that's dumb considering all the trouble they went through to run away. *shrug*

Oooh I don't think I've read it, yay! I'll try to read it soon, but it might be a few days before I get my hands on a computer. I promise we'll discuss when I do though.
